The year's at halfway, and I've accomplished just about everything I set out to accomplish this year. I did have a list up on the refrigerator, and it's all been done now. It's an odd feeling for me. Most of the time, I take just about forever to get stuff done, but this year, man, it's just clicked along.
One good thing is I'm finally getting some backlogged debts settled. For one, a few years ago someone did something to help me with some research, and I promised him something in return. It took a while, but that something is finally available, so I'm sending him one in the mail today. My conscience is a little less burdened as a result.
Something else nice? The year's half over and I've completed eleven models. That's a modern record for me. When I was a kid, I'd knock them out without thinking about them, but now I hem and haw about them. There have been years when getting one or two finished was an accomplishment. This year, though, it's just worked like crazy, and it's gratifying. Number eleven is a wee-tiny P-51B Mustang that gets a clear-coat today, and then that's it. Then it's photo-booth time. Stay tuned.
